The COVID-19-themed outdoor exhibition 'Touched' was organized by Statens Museum for Kunst and aimed to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the coronavirus lockdowns. The exhibition featured works by artists Benedikte Bjerre, Sonja Lillebæk Christensen, and Kaspar Bonnén.

Kaspar Bonnén contributed the sculptural text piece 'Jeg troede, at vi skulle bygge noget op sammen, men jeg blev ved med at grave' (I thought we were going to build something together, but I kept digging). This artwork was constructed using bricks and was exhibited in front of various locations, including Statens Museum for Kunst, Aarhus Kunsthal, SMK Thy, and in a wooden ladder version at Brandts Klædefabrik.

In my role as an architect on the project, I worked in collaboration with Bonnén to design and plan the piece. Furthermore, I executed the construction of the wooden ladder at Statens Værksteder for Kunst.
